Chris Camela, DB491, on Journey of Hope

 

This summer, 70 college students are going the extra mile for people with disabilities. From San Francisco to Washington, D.C. they are cycling 3,900 miles along the Journey of Hope 2002.

 

Chris Camela, DB491, is one of these students. Chris is currently a student at Southern Polytechnic in Marietta, GA where he is a math major. Chris trained for the last six months by cycling 60-80 per day to get ready for the Journey of Hope.

 

Delta Beta Corporation donated over $800 of the $4000 Chris had to raise to be able to participate. Chris will be traveling through Georgia 22-25 July 2002. Look for an email to follow on where you can meet Chris and the rest of the Brothers who are participating.

Class of ‘72, ‘73, and ‘74 held in Norcross

 

The NGC Classes of ‘72, ‘73, and ‘74 were held at the Marriott in Norcross, GA. Bill Pope, DB19, was the man responsible for putting the reunion together and coordinating the weekend events.

 

Numerous Pi Kapps were in attendance. President Hansford and COL Tom Palmer both spoke about what is going on at NGCSU and the state of the Corps.
