Rodney Gwaltney, DB69, joins Chapter Eternal LTC (R) Larry R. "Rodney" Gwaltney passed away on 19 Dec 03 and was buried with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery on 29 Jan 04. Don Durant, DB58, had the distinct honor and privilege of serving as an Honorary Pallbearer. Rodney fought a difficult 14-year long battle against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Rodney was among those initiated with Don in Dec 1971 - the first pledge class to be initiated by DB Chapter. Rodney was a great friend and brother who leaves behind a widow, Selene, and three daughters, Bridget, Heather and Ashley. He will be greatly missed. I urge all of you to donate to the ALS Foundation in Rodney's name. |

Everything in a Nutshell I want to say it is good to be back home and doing things for the fraternity again. Sorry that I have not updated the website is a year, but now things will be kept up-to-date. The first thing to let you know about is that the Active Chapter has their own website at: http://hawkeye.ngcsu.edu/~!pikappaphi/. I will have a link to their site from the Alumni website. I have updated the list of Brothers’ addresses and will be sending out monthly emails on things that are going on. Lastly, please make plans to attend the 100th Anniversary of our Fraternity by attending Supreme Chapter in August in Charleston, SC. Go to www.pikapp.org for details. |

BUILD AMERICA Pi kappa Phi host a number of events designated for the awareness and fundraising for disabilities. Jason Howard, DB513, has been selected to be a member of Build America, which builds facilities for the disabled. Jason is asking for donations from the alumni of at least $25 and up to be sent to: Mr. Jason Howard, 4338 Price Rd.
