Huge Turnout for Founders’ Day 2004 Delta Beta Chapter had over 40 Brothers and their families show up for the celebration on Sunday, 12 December 2004. We saw Brothers we have not seen in a couple of years like Doug Arb, DB315, and LTC Lee Hackle, DB227. The Active Chapter showed up with over 10 Brothers and most of the Little Sisters. This even keeps getting bigger and bigger each year we do it. Make plans to join us the weekend of 10 DEC 05 to help us celebrate the most important day in our Fraternity’s history. Please check out the pictures of the event on the Delta Beta Website. |

Latest Active Chapter News I received a call from Josh Carvalho, DB537, several weeks ago concerning a serious incident at NGCSU. The active chapter held a fund raiser by putting on a poker tournament with gift certificates as prizes. The school charged the chapter with gambling and as of right now the chapter is suspended for a year from taking on new members. Josh relayed to me that the chapter had consulted with local law enforcement prior to the event to ensure it was legal and it was deemed so. The District Attorney in Dahlonega has not file charges since the school suspended the chapter. I gave Josh the number of Raymond George, DB126, a lawyer in Dahlonega to so that they could talk to him about their appeal to the school on the suspension. I have asked Josh to keep me informed and to not hesitate to ask the alumni council for help and support. I will supply more details as I get them. |
